Cancellation Policy

1. Free Cancellation Window

Customers may cancel their booking free of charge under the following conditions:

• Standard Transfers: Cancellation is free if made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
• Tourist Excursions & Day Trips: Cancellation is free if made more than 48 hours before the departure time.
• Group & Bus Rentals (10+ passengers): Cancellation is free if made more than 72 hours in advance.
• Free cancellations must be requested via WhatsApp or email to receive official confirmation.

2. Late Cancellation Fees

If a booking is cancelled within the notice periods below, the following fees apply:

• Standard Transfers (within 24 hours): 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
• Tourist Excursions (within 48 hours): 50% of the total trip cost will be charged.
• Group & Bus Rentals (within 72 hours): 75% of the total trip cost will be charged.
• Cancellation fees are applied to cover driver time, vehicle reservation, and operational costs.

3. No-Show Policy

A "no-show" occurs when a passenger fails to appear at the agreed pick-up location and time without prior cancellation notice.

• No-shows are charged 100% of the total booking cost — no refund will be issued.
• For airport pick-ups, a no-show is declared if the passenger cannot be reached within 60 minutes of the actual flight landing time.
• We strongly recommend informing us of any delays or changes to your travel plans as early as possible.

4. Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances

Cairo Airport Ride acknowledges that certain events are outside the client's control. In such cases, clients are entitled to free rescheduling or a full refund:

• Flight Cancellation: If your outbound or connecting flight is officially cancelled by the airline.
• Natural Disasters or Government Travel Bans: Including extreme weather events that make travel impossible.
• Medical Emergency: Upon presentation of valid medical documentation.
• In all force majeure cases, clients must notify us within 24 hours of the event and provide proper documentation.

5. How to Cancel Your Booking

To cancel a booking, please contact us using one of the following methods:

• WhatsApp (Preferred): Send your booking reference and cancellation request to our WhatsApp number.
• Email: Send your cancellation request with your booking reference to our support email address.
• All cancellation requests must be acknowledged by our team in writing to be considered valid.
• Verbal cancellations (calls without written follow-up) are not accepted.

6. Rescheduling Policy

You may reschedule your booking at no additional cost subject to the following conditions:

• Rescheduling requests must be made before the original free cancellation deadline applies.
• Standard Transfers: Free rescheduling up to 12 hours before pick-up time.
• Excursions & Group Trips: Free rescheduling up to 24 hours before departure.
• Rescheduling is subject to availability of the requested vehicle and driver on the new date.
• If the new booking results in a higher price (e.g., peak season, different route), the price difference will apply.

7. Refund Processing

• Approved refunds for pre-paid bookings will be processed within 5–10 business days.
• Refunds will be returned via the same payment method used for the original transaction (bank transfer or mobile payment).
• For cash bookings, no upfront payment is taken, therefore no refund process applies — cancellation fees, if applicable, will be invoiced separately.
• Cairo Airport Ride reserves the right to deduct any applicable cancellation fees from the refund amount before processing.

8. Cancellations by Cairo Airport Ride

In rare cases, Cairo Airport Ride may need to cancel a confirmed booking. This may occur due to:

• Vehicle breakdown or driver emergency with no available replacement.
• Extreme weather conditions rendering travel unsafe.
• In such cases, clients will be notified immediately and offered either a full refund or free rescheduling.
• Cairo Airport Ride will not be liable for any consequential losses (e.g., missed flights, hotel bookings) arising from a company-initiated cancellation.

9. Amendments to This Policy

Cairo Airport Ride reserves the right to update this Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon publication on our website. We recommend reviewing this policy before each booking.
